They say: One of the very few triple distilled single malts, this is a nutty affair, almonds, caramelised tangerines, crème brulee, ginger and a green leafiness. Nice and gentle as a Lowland malt should be. Auchentoshan is Glasgow's closest distillery.
The locals call this a "breakfast malt". We think that peardrops, syrup, spiced biscuits and citrus make a weird breakfast, but if it had to be one whisky early in the morning, it would be this one.
