Whilst previous retail experience isn’t essential, it is important that you have a passion for selling combined with an interest in wine and a willingness to learn. We pride ourselves in the service we offer our customers which sets us apart from our competitors so excellent customer service skills are a must. If you have a flair for merchandising that is an added bonus as you will have lots of opportunity to express your creative side within our branches.
We do not expect our new recruits to have extensive wine knowledge when they join however it is important that you have a real interest in the product and are keen to learn about it. We have a number of experienced and knowledgeable staff that you will have the opportunity to work alongside and we offer the opportunity to study for WSET qualifications.

We are continuously looking for talented people for Wine Advisor and Branch Management positions. A Wine Advisor's role is hugely varied and you will be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the branch. The majority of our Branch Management positions are filled internally so if you are successful in the role of Wine Advisor you may have the opportunity to progress into Branch Management. If you have significant previous experience in either the licensed trade or in a supervisory retail role, we do also offer the opportunity to fast-track into Branch Management via our Trainee Assistant Manager Programme.
We also have a range of part-time Wine Advisor positions available across our stores for those looking to work up to 20 hours a week.
