The Oddbins Take

What does this lovely Bordeaux and the brilliant electronic artist Aphex Twin have in common? They both use Rollands to produce their work. Aphex Twin uses a Roland keyboard and the Chateau is assisted by the Rolland laboratory...Now, this may be a tenuous link and the spelling not all there, but it's an excuse to crack open a bottle of this red and enjoy Aphex Twin's long awaited album 'Syro'! Harmonious blackcurrant, cherry and herbal notes, in tune with chocolate and oaky rhythms.

Chateau la Vieille Cure Fronsac is a mere 20 hectares. First appearing on the famous Belleyme map dated 1780, by 1986 it was bought by two American investors known as The Old Parsonage, both huge fans of the wines of Bordeaux. The winery's soul is traditional French wine making and driven by American commercial acumen. 100% manual/hand harvesting to ensure top quality grapes reach the presses. The Chateau's wines are now exported to over 25 nations. The main markets being France, USA, China and Britain.
