The Oddbins Take

Immediately upon opening are the delicious aromas of apple blossom and white peach, complimented by hints of crushed caper and cinnamon. Notes of fresh quince and spice add to the wines complexity. The palate is well structured and complex thanks to ageing in French barriques, leading to a clean fresh finish.

James Halliday Wine Companion 2016

Established in 1987 by Bertel and Anne Sundstrup, Dalrymple Vineyards is situated in northeast Tasmania, in the heart of the highly acclaimed Pipers River region. The Sundstrups’ vines are planted on the sloping hills that overlook Bass Strait – the wild sea that separates Tasmania from the mainland.

The winery is well known for producing complex wines with weight, texture and flavour, with real personality in each bottle.
