The Oddbins Take

If you are a worshipper of Pan, mystical leader of the natural world, mistakenly thinking that we’re talking about the village of Martino in Arcadia, Greece, where lies a temple dedicated to this most impish of Greek deities, please navigate away from this page now. However, if you’re here for the wine, read on: De Martino make stonkingly good-value wines and this zippy, mouth-watering, lemony Sauvignon is a fine example of their work. It’s organic and sustainably-made too. We think pan would approve.

Nuevo Mundo wines are only natural and have delivered the primary carbon impartial wines in South America. The vines develop on an alluvial porch in the customary Maipo Valley. They are created by the De Martino family, which was named Chilean Winery of the Year 2012 by Wines of Chile. The mark delineates the numerous butterflies that possess the natural vineyards.

De Martino is one of the most seasoned family homes in Chile, going back to 1934. Since the begin their fundamental point has been to create wines that mirror their root. It is known for being the main winery to bottle a Carmeñere, to find new wine locales and for taking after natural practices. Marcelo Retamal has worked at De Martino since 1996.

He a praised winemaker in Chile and is commited to De Martino's objective of making exquisite wines that are consistent with their terroir.
