What's In This Case

Nestled in the Holme Valley lies The Pure North Cider Press. Producing the finest natural cider from a blend of traditional cider apples. Our Ciders are fermented naturally and full of anti-oxidants and lovingly nurtured, pressed by hand and delivered with care. Apples are picked and processed on site and by using carefully chosen blend of cider apples (we feel this gives the cider a better flavour). All our Ciders are naturally produced and full of goodness.

To build on our heritage, enhance our quality products, our people and our processes for the benefit of our customers and our company. The name ‘Pure North Cider and Juice Company’ encapsulates our mission which is to produce a range of excellent ciders, apple juices and hedgerow fruit drinks which are made in keeping with tradition.

All of our trees are chemical free with no spraying. Most of all we wanted to use the land we are fortunate to have and produce things that the North Family and the wider community can be proud of.

At New Laithe Farm we have done our up most to utilise green energy with a wind turbine providing electricity and a water source heat pump providing hot water and heating. The process we use for cider and juice production involves little or no waste with the pulp that is left after pressing being used as feed by local pig farmers.
