The Oddbins Take

With a cellar potential of up to 20 years this wine must look a bit like a young Bob Dylan-expressive yet possessing huge developmental potential.

Ok so calling this wine poetic may cause some to be violently ill! But just listen to legions and fan clubs of the grape Pinot Noir next time they don't think they're being over heard. You'll think your in a 1920s speak easy or an underground jazz club.

If these folk had a bottle of this wine you'd never shut them up... Blue berries, red cherries, dried roses, lavender ... Pinot Noir fans are actually a pretty good bunch. (Pun intended)

Marchand-Tawse's aim is to always be true to the terroir, in order to do this the wine maker has a light hand and adapts the winemaking and ageing to each specific wine.

Offers hints of lemon oil before a dry and finely etched rich chewy finish.
