The Oddbins Take

What ho! This wine reminds us of a joke from Jeeves and Wooster, which goes a little like this: Three chaps at Wembley, one says "Is this Wembley?" another one answers, "No, it's Thursday!" to which the third one responds, "So am I. Let's go out and have a drink!"

We could have told you all about crossing grape varieties, soil types and pruning methods, but that’s all a bit serious isn’t it? Just like Jeeves and Wooster, this wine is frivolous and fruity fun executed with talent and flair, Sir.

Imagine Audrey Hepburn weaving a soft top Porsche through the summer streets of Monte Carlo. Got it? Well you're part way to understanding the classic and timeless elegance of this case. A sophisticated mix of quality reds and whites, from crisp White Burgundy to traditional red Bordeaux..
The Porter Mill Station wines are made by the Tulbagh Winery, which was founded in 1906 and has produced quality wines ever since. Tulbagh has continued to grow and merged with Porterville Cellar in 2006. The emphasis remains to produce quality wines at great value. This wine is no exception; it’s a youthful and attractive Pinotage from one of South Africa's most up-and-coming wine regions. Aged in French oak for a year. With red berry fruits and delicate oaky touches, this much maligned grape variety is wonderful with venison, pies and dishes with gravy.
