This was an unusual season with alternating cool and hot periods throughout the growing season. However, the grapes ripened well with rich flavour development, giving generous varietal flavours while retaining natural acidity.
Tasting Notes : Strong pineapple aromas, with tropical fruits, appear on the nose, plus lifted spice and vanilla creaminess as a result of partial oak fermentation. Pineapple and lime are the dominant characters on the palate, together with a generous creamy texture. The acidity provides both zest and length to the palate.

Method of Production : A portion of the wine was fermented in new American oak in order to provide additional complexity on the palate. Most of the wine was cool fermented in stainless steel for three weeks.
