Mâcon-Lugny Cave de Lugny
Product Code: 14386
Lugny is one of the most well known of the Mâcon villages that are allowed to state their name on the label. It comprise of 162 hectares of vines, of which Cave de Lugny own over 98%, making this whole village a virtual monopole of theirs.
Tasting Notes : Fresh and incisive on the nose with aromas of lime-tree flowers and hazelnuts. The palate is dry and crisp with flavours of lemon, peach and honey.

Method of Production : The grapes were destemmed then pressed without being crushed. After twelve hours of maceration, the juice was racked off then fermented for ten days in stainless steel tanks at 18°C followed by malolactic conversion. The wine was then kept in tank on its lees for six months to one year before it was fined, filtered and bottled.
