Sancerre Rose Gaspard de la Thaumassière

Tasting Notes : A delicate and subtle Pinot Noir rosé with a nose of rose hips and redcurrants. The palate is soft and fresh with more summer fruit flavours and a dry, clean finish.

Method of Production : The grapes were destemmed, crushed and the juice allowed to remain in contact with the skins for a brief period of time before being run off. Fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures for three weeks. The wine was aged in tank on its lees before it was fined, filtered and bottled.
