Portal da Águia Branco
Product Code: 15511
The Portuguese trend is set to continue with yet another interesting and delicious wine made with indigenous grapes. Quinta da Alorna uses Arinto and Fernão Pires to make Portal da Águia, with the result being a beguiling aromatic wine filled with exotic and tropical fruits.
Tasting Notes : The nose is aromatically soft and fruity with aromas of tropical fruits, apples and sweet flowers. The palate is round and off dry with a citrussy kick to start, a middle full juicy melons and a grapefruit tinged finish.
Producer : Quinta da Alorna
Method of Production : The grapes were whole bunch pressed and the juice cold settled prior to being fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine was then fined, filtered and bottled as fresh as possible.
