Wakefield Riesling

A small group of Clare Valley winemakers have decided to bottle their Rieslings with a stelvin cap; we applaud their initiative. This is a lovely, fresh, aromatic Riesling from one of Australia's finest grape-growing regions.

Tasting Notes : Lemons, limes and orange blossom with a deliciously refreshing acidic streak perfectly balanced by weight of fruit.

Producer : Wakefield

Method of Production : Sourced from Wakefield's six individual Riesling blocks with varying meso-climates, the fruit was picked and pressed. The free-run juice was fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks to retain delicate aromatics. The fruit from each block was vinified separately to enhance complexity in the final blend.
