Suckfizzle is a small vineyard located at Augusta, to the southwesterly extreme of the Margaret River region. A cult wine back in Oz, this is the finest example of its type! Replicating the finest white Bordeaux wines, the Sauvignon and Semillon are barrel fermented to give an intriguing mix of fresh, vibrant, citrus flavours intermingled with the rich, creamy, nutty flavours from the oak. Stunning food wine and one that only reaches the UK in frustratingly small quantities.
Tasting Notes : A distinctive bouquet of lemon and lime curds, sweet herbs, ripe gooseberry, minerally talc and toasted oak spice. The palate is structured by the driving purity of citrus fruits then enlarged by rich nectarine, gooseberry and sweet herb contributions.

Method of Production : Handpicked grapes were whole bunch pressed and the juice cold settled over night. French oak barrels (half new and half a year old) were used for fermentation for two weeks, and fifteen months of maturation on lees. The wine was fined and filtered before bottling.
