Chapoutier are dedicated to bio-dynamic viticulture - an environmentally friendly farming method where the vineyard and winery operations are governed by the positions and phases of the moon!
Tasting Notes : Red fruits and blackcurrants on the nose with hints of violets. Warm and round with flavours of stewed fruits and vanilla.

Method of Production : Les Meysonniers was produced from Syrah fruit on vines between 40 and 60 years old. As the grapes ripened, they were continually checked to find the perfect balance of sugar, acidity and fruit flavour. Fermentation took place in wooden vats, with the skins pushed down twice a day in order to extract colour, flavour and tannins. After fermentation, the wine was matured in oak casks for a year adding structure and cedar notes.
