A soft and delicate Highland, this is a dram, that once tasted you'll wonder why you've not had it before. It has plenty of fruitiness and fresh vegetal aromas, but there is also enough depth present to keep you interested to the bottom of the bottle.
Tasting Notes : The nose is soft, very aromatic with a hint of honey and lemon in the foreground. Sweet to start with, the palate has an appetising fruitiness and a long smooth finish.
Producer : Knockdhu/AnCnoc
Method of Production : This small distillery has one large and tall spirit still with a long worm that produces a light, floral and estery new make spirit. The spirit was then matured in a combination of ex-Sherry and ex-Bourbon hogsheads for a minimum of twelve years.
Food Choice
Fruity and soft, this would go with cranachan well.

I was very surprised by this Malt! It starts off with a nuttiness and delveopes from there. A very pleasant Malt.

Actually, this is very much like the 12 YO Knockando (one of my favourite Speysides) but at a lower price. This is a very impressive expression if Oddbins can keep the price down.
