It is no wonder that Cragganmore was selected to represent Speyside in United Distillers Classic range, the soft mellow style and hint of peat has long been cause of approval from master blenders..

Tasting Notes : Smooth with apples, nuts, honey and a hint of smoky peat.

Producer : Cragganmore

Method of Production : Water comes from the Craggan Burn that has fed the distillery since 1869. Lightly peated malt is used. The stills are squat in order to fit into the low-ceilinged still room, the short stils give rich spirit, the fact that they are steam heated gives a delicate edge. The spirit is aged for 12 years exclusively in old Bourbon casks to add a rich mellowness.

One of the Greats

I have been drinking single malts all my life and I now find Cragganmore among the very best. When I first sampled it, I was underwhelmed, but the more I drank it, the more impressed I was. Michael Jackson says that this whisky is "worth effort" and I couldn't agree more - the nose lives up to its reputation, but the palate and the finish are fanastic as well.

This is a fabulous malt. Just a drop of water, watch the whisky cloud, sit back and enjoy. Don't drink anything else in my opinion.

I love malts. My wife bought me this for my birthday and I have'nt drank any other malt since, the party trick is to hide or disgard the cork.

Simply fabulous! Pound-for-pound, and joking aside, I think this is probably the best whisky money can buy. Far superior to a lot of whiskies two or three times its price.

Simply the classiest Speyside whisky that money can buy. Silky texture and wonderfully complex. Don't waste the rest of your life drinking lesser malts!
