Pimm's No. 1, 70cl
Product Code: 24500
The name itself conjures up the Boat Race, picnics in the park and lazy Summer days. Grab the mint, strawberries and the rest and get mixing!
Tasting Notes : Sweet, deceptively strong, lashings of orange and red-fruit, refreshing with a touch of bitterness on the finish.
Producer : Pimm's
Method of Production : A gin-based fruit cup whose recipe has traditionally been kept secret. First produced in 1841, in legend the exact formula of the drink is only made known to the top six people at Pimm's. A little old lady who was a customer in one of our South London shops once told some of us her own recipe for Pimm's that was just as good, involving mixing gin and orange brandy, we didn't write it down and now nobody remembers the rest. Another great opportunity missed!
Food Choice
Serve with lemonade, ice, a dash of gin (and/or Absolut Mandarin), cucumber slices, orange and a sprig of mint.

A student staple here. Absolutely necessary for pre-, post- and mid- exam consumption, especially in May Week.

Always No. 1
Summer, on the Thames, in a huge jug, full of the right debris, absolutely stonking, old chap.
