This Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is an excellent representation of the finest quality from Marlborough, made from the winery's finest parcels. Rich with succulent passionfruit, guava and citrus flavours. Layers of concentrated tropical fruit and citrus flavours are complemented by an attractive, flinty or mineral aspect on the full, rich palate. A mouth-watering, zesty, acidity frames a delicious, lingering finish.

Established in 2005, Rapaura Springs is proudly owned and managed by the Neylon and Wiffin Families in Marlborough, New Zealand. Working on the goal of leaving a natural legacy for future generations they focus on enhancing their surrounding environment through sustainable vineyard and winemaking practices. Managed carefully under the strict Sustainable Wine Growing New Zealand standards, the estate employs a minimal intervention philosophy across the entirety of their winemaking processes.

The namesake spring, depicted on the label, provides the vines with crystal clear, pure water and also supports the family-wineries minimal intervention methods. After a six-month journey through a rocky aquifer, at the point where the Wairau River meets earth, the water forms a spring which then weaves its way through the main vineyard.

Growing and sourcing their grapes from across Marlborough’s sub-regions, Rapaura let the land, climate and water of New Zealand do most of the hard work before they handcraft their marvellous wines. All the wonderful flavours that Marlborough has on offer are captured through the way in which Rapaura take a step back and allow the vineyards to do their thing. With a slight nudge in the right direction from their experienced teams, the result is an exceptional range offering a variety of distinct flavours that reflect each of the iconic regions they are from.

The Rapaura Springs Reserve Sauvignon Blanc is made using only the finest parcels of fruit from their vineyards. Once picked, the fruit is pressed and the juice fermented in stainless steel tanks to retains clean, crisp fruit flavours.

The sub-regions offer a variety of flavours with the Wairau Valley delivering passionfruit flavours whereas the Waihopai gives a flinty or mineral aspect and, finally, the Awatere Valley provides herbal and gooseberry flavours.
