The Oddbins Take

They Say

A former churchman, Charles Tanqueray began distilling in 1830 and the firm has been going strong ever since. They use the highest quality spirit and finest botanicals, picked at the peak of their freshness, for this version, which is slightly lighter than that sold in the USA and Canada. Zesty and racy, with heaps of summer fruits, it loses none of its flavour with the lower alcohol.

We Say

Breezy, zippy and fruity, Tanqueray is a gin after our own heart. Alter Ego: Janet Ellis; like this high-pitched, unwaveringly likeable former Blue Peter presenter, Tanqueray Export Strength is both light and dainty, firm and practical, as it can, with some sticky back plastic and a good splosh of tonic, make an incredible G&T… *pulls out a G&T from under the table* - and here’s one we made earlier.
