From a winemaker that brought you the legendary Dashwood Sauvignon while working at Vavasour; this beauty is a real rival for Sancerre. Extended ageing on the lees imparts a creamy citrussy depth that perfectly contrasts the refreshing white peach, orange zest, melon and passion fruit. This has summer written all over it, so try it with quiche, goats' cheese, rocket salads or asparagus.

Tupari carefully thin shoots and bunches to optimise the quality of this single vineyard Sauvignon Blanc. Specially selected yeast strains were used and the wine was left on the lees for 7 months and stirred weekly to enhance the creamy palate texture. A family run wine estate on north-facing river flats overlooking the Awatere (pronounced: ‘Ow–wa–terry’) River, led by meticulous vigneron David Turnbull and renowned local winemaker Glenn Thomas, who was the first winemaker for Vavasour.
