The Oddbins Take

***Commended at the International Wine Challenge 2015***

It's become a little easy to overlook this kind of great value New World blend in favour of some of the unusual Old World styles enjoying a renaissance. However this could mean you're missing out. There could be few better illustrations of ripe, clean fruit. This one simply bounds out of the glass. Enjoy at the start of a warm summery evening.

Vittorio and Giuseppina De Bortoli established their first vineyards in 1928 after immigrating to Australia from the Veneto in northern Italy. Today it is one of the largest family-owned wineries in Australia. The Willowglen comes from their Bilbul winery in the Riverina region that enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate and sandy loam soils.
