The Oddbins Take

Sometimes you just want them to give it to you straight. No complications, no round-the-houses, just straight to the point. And that's what this wine does so darn well. Classic ripe Australian fruit with a succulent palate and a long delicious finish, you really can almost taste the warm Ozzie sunshine. An absolute all-rounder this wine needs only good company to set off its charms.

Vittorio and Giuseppina De Bortoli established their first vineyards in 1928 after immigrating to Australia from the Veneto in northern Italy. Today it is one of the largest family-owned wineries in Australia. The Willowglen comes from their Bilbul winery in the Riverina region that enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate and sandy loam soils.
