We are always interested to hear from talented people, who bring passion, drive and enthusiasm to their work, who would like to join our branch teams. If you are looking for a fast-paced career in a dynamic company then Oddbins could be for you. It is important that you have a passion for selling, have a willingness to learn, and have an interest in wine. Excellent customer service skills are also a must, as we pride ourselves in the service we offer our customers, and which sets us apart from our competitors. If you have a creative flair, that is an added bonus, as you will have lots of opportunity to express your creative side in merchandising the branch. We do not expect our new recruits to have top notch wine knowledge when they join, however it is important that you have an interest in the product and are keen to learn about it. We have a number of experienced and knowledgeable staff that you will have the opportunity to work alongside, and learn from. Most of our recruitment is at Wine Advisor level, which is the entry level position for our branches. A Wine Advisor's role is hugely varied and you will learn about all aspects of the role, from tasting wine, to how to build a window display, to advising customers. The vast majority of our Branch Management positions are filled internally, so if you are successful in the role of Wine Advisor you may have the opportunity to progress into Branch Management. We would therefore welcome applications from anyone who is willing to learn, has an interest in wine, and is looking for a career in retail. Previous sales or customer service experience would be helpful, but not essential. We currently have 34 branches across England and Scotland, largely centred in Central and Outer London, Glasgow and Edinburgh. To apply for any of these positions please send a copy of your up to date CV and a covering letter, stating which role you are applying for and explaining what interests you about the role to oddbinsrecruitment@efb.co.uk. Your application will be dealt with by the HR department, and a member of the team will contact you shortly.
