Bordeaux Supérieur

Bordauex Superieur wines are a slightly more premium wine from Bordeaux. The wines are produced from the classic Bordeaux grape varieties. The red wines generally rely on Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, while the whites rely on the Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon.

So what makes the Bordeaux Superieur wines "superior"? There are several things, the most obvious being they tend to be richer and more complex than the regular Bordeaux wine, owed to stricter production conditions.
