According to 2Pac and Dr Dre, California knows how to party. It's not surprising, if you're gonna have a party you're gonna need some wine and they produce a lot. If California were a country, it would be the world's fourth largest wine producer. Don't think that all Zinfandel is pink and sweet, real red Zinfandel is powerful and jammy with refreshing acidity, just like this one. Each mouthful is an elegant fruit bowl of raspberries, strawberries, cherries, watermelon and blackberries laced with vanilla, caramel and hazelnuts. A bottle of California love.
The McManis Family Vineyards are located in the Northern interior of California at Lodi and Ripon. The company was founded in 1990 by Ron and Jamie McManis - fourth generation family farmers. The McManis family has been growing grapes in this region since 1938, and McManis Family Vineyards currently operates over 2500 acres of vineyards.
After fermentation on the skins for a period of 7-9 days, the must was pressed and the resulting wine finished fermentation in stainless steel tanks. It was then aged for 4-6 months in French and American oak barrels
