For over 180 years, seven generations of the Pedregal family have been producing wines in the Loncomilla Valley. The Loncomilla crosses east-west between the Andes and the Pacific ocean, some 220 kilometres south of Santiago in the Maule region.
Héctor Saldivia obtained his Agronomy degree at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and later specialized in Oenology. In 2005 he joined Viña Carta Vieja to lead its oenological and viticultural teams.
