Established in 1776, Louis Roederer is one of the few remaining family-owned ‘grand marque’ Champagne houses. Its Brut Premier is assembled from individual wines sourced from over forty different vineyards and from several vintages. Up to 10% of these wines are matured in oak casks. A proportion also undergoes malolactic fermentation. Once assembled and bottled it is matured for three years in the cellar and rested for six months after disgorgement.
