Limestone isn't just good for building things with, it can also be great for growing stuff in too! Especially grapes. Who knew?! This white wine...

Originating in the Loire Valley of France, Chenin Blanc’s presence has spread across the world, from South Africa to regions in the USA. This early-budding and mid ripening grape can successfully be grown in many different soil types. The mailability of the Chenin grape allows for a range of styles, fruits and sweetness levels.

Old World French Chenin Blanc wines typically demonstrate high acidity with apple, pear citrus and orchard fruit flavours. This flavour profile is commonly paired with floral notes and honeysuckle. In the new world however, Chenin wines are typically more of a dry style, but with profiles of riper, more tropical fruit flavours and floral aromas.

They say no two snowflakes are the same, and we suppose the same can be said about Chenin Blanc…
