Havana Club 3 year old rum is a light cuban rum which goes great with both cocktails and mixers. It is crisp and fresh on the nose with marzipan, citrus, allspice, ground ginger, lime and gentle oak. On the palate it is clean with citrus, vanilla and oak, the most prominent, with touches of spice and lemon.
Havana Club was originally established in 1878 by Jose Arechabala in Cuba prior to the Cuban Revolution in 1959. Following this he emigrated to Spain and then to America with family. Havana Club's rums are well known and are an essential in any cocktail bartenders collection.
