The Oddbins Take

Known as the 'heartbreak' grape, Pinot Noir is notoriously difficult to grow because its thin skin makes it susceptible to an array of threats. But when handled with the right care and attention, these delicate little grapes can be crafted into incredible wines. The rolling hills of the Granite Hill Cellars' vineyard, for example, benefit from the cool breezes from the Pacific Ocean, helping create the ideal climate to grow premium grapes. The result is a fruit-forward Pinot Noir, rich with flavours of black cherries, cranberries, cloves, tobacco and just a touch of caramel and vanilla. Lush and full, the only thing heartbreaking about this wine is that there isn't enough of it!
