The Oddbins Take

Winemaking is a lot more sciency than you might think. It involves complicated stuff like pre-fermenting, pigeage, pumping and pressure-controlled pneumatic presses. If that isn't enough P's for you, these are all part of the practices the Girardin family have perfected over the years to create their Pinot Noir.

This bit of chemistry know-how gives fresh red fruit aromas in a supple, fruity and light wine. Luckily you don't have to be a rocket scientist (or wine expert) to enjoy this Bourgogne Pinot Noir as it's the perfect first step towards understanding the crus of Burgundy. Although, we'll be impressed if you know what malolactic fermentation means!
