The Oddbins Take

This might be a controversial opinion but when we hear about war, we think to ourselves "Huh, good god y'all, what is it good for? Absolutely nothing, say it again!" Then again, perhaps that statement is a bit heavy handed; there are very few just wars. Exceptions include The Battle for Hogwarts, the War of Middle Earth and the original Star Wars trilogy but good can come from war. Blood transfusions, ligatures and X-rays all have roots in war, as does Bodegas Luzon.

In 1916, a Spanish army doctor who had been deployed to the island of Luzón in the Philippines returned to the land of his birth to continue the legacy of his ancestors and to rename one of his winemaking properties Finca Luzón. Thus, it seems the answer to the question "war, what is it good for?" Is a Monastrell with a fresh and rich palate with layers of ripe plums, black cherry fruit, a hint of liquorice and a long dry finish.
