Albert Bichot is a historic producer based in the city of Beaune, in Burgundy, France. The Bichot family can trace its roots as far back as 1214, their winery was launched centuries later in 1831 by Bernard Bichot. From then they have acquired vineyards across the Burgundy region. Sites include Chablis, Nuits-Saint-George, Mercurey, Pommard and Moulin-A-Vent (in neighbouring Beaujolais).
Alain-Serveau is the winemaker, a native of Nuits-Saint-George. His family were (grape)growers, he studied in Bordeaux and travelled around several French wine making areas before taking the role as Technical Director in 1995. Bichot has a reputation for excellence and strives for absolute top quality.
