If you run "Riesling" off the end of it, you will get a lower score but a handy 50 bonus points for using all your letters. Larry Cherubino, a man also worth a few points, has an even more winning way of putting the two together, by blending them into a refreshingly heady, exotically spicy and rose petal-tinged bottle of loveliness, that would be the perfect foil for a mild curry and a Turkish delight dessert. "Larry Cherubino Wines was established in 2005, following the purchase of his first land, a small parcel in Riversdale, in 2004. It was the culmination of several decades of work and experience throughout Australia and across many of the finest wine-producing regions of the world. Larry's first release was in 2005, a single wine made in his spare room.
Grapes for this wine were selected carefully from several sites across the Great Southern, paying particular attention to harvesting dates. Sulphur use was kept to a minimum, grapes were gently de-stemmed and only the free-run juice was used, to maintain the elegance and purity of the fruit".
