To use the Aussie parlance; we must have a few roos loose in the top paddock letting you guys get your hands on this. Don’t get us wrong, we love you….but this is really good. If the dinghy had sprung a leak in croc infested waters and we needed to lose some weight, you’d have to put across a pretty convincing argument before we’d throw this wine overboard before you. A peach in every respect: aroma, flavour, quality and price.
Bob and Cherie Berton set up the Berton Vineyard in the High Eden subregion of Barossa in 1996. Due to a lack of water for a couple of years it took a while for the vines to really flourish, but now these hardy little vines are producing some incredible grapes. This wine was one of the first wines that Berton produced and is therefore one that they, and we, are very proud of.
