Black Isle Brewery was established in 1998 by beer lover, David Gladiwn, with the vision of brewing world-class beer using barley and hops grown exclusively on organic farms. To this day, they use what they can from their own farms, and source from other local, organic farms. The spent grain is fed to their Hebridean sheep to create a continuous, sustainable cycle.
Released in celebration of the breweries 21st birthday, 21 Pale is a classic pale ale brewed with nelson sauvin, citra and cascade hops for a big, citrusy hit. Grapefruit and tangerine aromas are met with fresh pine and citrus on the palate.
