It's a terrible shame, when someone is underrated because of the flair of a peer. Often it is totally unjustified, like Brian in your office who got that promotion ahead of you, purely because Brian feels the need to signpost every bit of work he's ever managed to do... and there was that thing at last year's Christmas party, pathetic. You refuse to play the game, that's your problem, your just to honest. When it comes to French sparkling however, Champagne obviously deserves enormous renown; it's brilliant. However, it means sometimes wine lovers ignore sparkling wine from other regions of France; like Vouvray. Here in the Loire, they use the same method as Champagne to make a beautiful sparkling with delicate characters of white peach, honeyed apricot, quince and a touch of fresh pastry. We really do recommend you give it a go, plus every bottle we sell, we shall tweet Brian a GIF of Machiavelli tutting. Deal? Deal.
