Henri and Simone Ducourt bought Chateau d'Haures in 1983 and made it their home. Now the main place where their family and friends gather, the Chateau breathes joy and good living, just like the wines that are produced here by their grandchildren.
Deep red in colour with a purplish tint, the wine has generous aromas of red and black fruits, mixed with elegant hints of toasted wood and vanilla. These aromas follow onto the palate, where they are met with delicate and gentle tannins. The long finish reveals well-integrated oak - great alongside hearty winter dishes, or a hunk of good cheese.
