Our knight in shining amour comes galloping from the slopes of the Cote Du Giennois. Heralding shining crispness, armed with orange, pears and flinty flavours. A heroic alternative to our aforementioned, besieged friends and a Sauvignon to shield us during hard times.
.Established in 1983, Domaine des Clairneaux has grown for nearly 30 years. Located in the the Sancerre region, Loire Valley, France. This is a family owned estate headed by Jean-Marie Berthier combined with his two talented sons Clement and Florian. The family own and produce wine from the appellations of Sancerre and,in this case the lesser known (but excellent quality) Cote Du Giennois. The Berthier's produce mainly white wines, some red and roses. In their own words their wines are- 'Created from a blend of knowledge, intuition, emotions, doubts and a little luck, our wine has only one ambition - to bring you drinking enjoyment.'
