The wine offers a pronounced minerality and appealing citrus, raw almond and green apple notes. It is well-balanced with a bright acidity, and an underlying essence of butter on the fine, mineral cut finish.
After studying viticulture and oenology in Beaune, Philippe dug into the family business in 1988, working with his parents at Domaine Michel Colin-Deleger, located in Chassagne-Montrachet. His brother Bruno joined them a few years later, and when Bernadette and Michel decided to retire in 2004, the two brothers made the decision to create their own businesses, in line with their different approaches to winemaking. And thus, Domaine Philippe Colin came into being.
