Feel waited on hand and foot by a team of grapes. Our warm, earthy Mourvedre; gentle Grenache; and bold Shiraz. There's no need to DIY BTW. Just relax. Let the wine do the work, and let your worries go AWOL a while.
The Elderton family's Greenock vineyard, located to the west of the Barossa Valley, became part of their portfolio in 2010. Their goal is to create world class wines from world class wines that show great brightness, purity and quality.
For the Elderton Estate Greenock Two the Shiraz grapes are added to the blend by way of adding balance to the colours, aromas and flavours of the other varietals. Where the Mourvedre give earthy and liqourice flavours, the Grenach offers a roundness to the palate with flavours of blue fruits along side a slight black pepperiness from the Shiraz.
