This lesser known gem of a white wine delivers all the bone dry, nettles and flint crispness you'd expect from it's better known near neighbours, but with 15% Chardonnay added to this blend there's just a hint of something richer, rounder and riper that will take you pleasantly by surprise. This single estate Cheverny has been made by 5 generations of the same family. Emmanuel Delaille, the current winemaker, has been making wine for 19 years. Yields are deliberately restricted, ensuring quality and ripeness and the wine is crisp, fresh and attractively complex – perfect served chilled on its own as an aperitif
