The Itata Valley is the Chilean wine world’s answer to the Paris Ritz in the 20s, the Havana El Floridita in the 30s or New York’s CBGBs in the 70s. It is a hot bed for the most experimental and daring small growers producing truly artisanal wines.
P. S. Garcia Bravado is no exception, a curious blend of Syrah, old vine Carignan, Grenache Mourvedre and Petit Verdot that has undergone a length barrel aging results in a unique and highly complex red. Deep black fruit flavours emerge on the palate, harmonising with a smoky undertone and a slightly gamey note, full bodied, with smooth tannins and bright acidity. This is a wine style you’ll find almost nowhere else in the world.
