In an era where conscientious customers (perhaps like yourself) are looking to support producers that have the best environmental practices, the wine world can be confusing. There are numerous ways to make wine that can have both positive and negative impacts on the environment, it’s hard to know what to look out for. A term we think you’ll hear a lot more in the coming years is ‘dry-farmed,’ with concern over water usage, wineries, like this one, who don’t use irrigation have a massive tick in their green column.
It helps that this wine happens to be fantastic, an elegant nose of blackberries, violet, pepper and wet stone follows onto a lively and complex palate supported by a firm tannin structure and a long mineral finish.
