Let's be honest, most gin distilleries have been in operation for an average of... yep, 17 minutes. Not old Gordon's, o no! Gordon's have been making gin since Oscar Wilde was in short smoking jackets. Could there be a better persona to represent Gordon's Pink Gin than dear Oscar? Dry, sharp as a whip and damn refreshing. Significantly, like Mr Wilde, it's stood the test of time; while most distilleries will disappear to the same place as M. E. Braddon (sorry Braddon but The Cloven Foot was just awful) Gordon's will carry on, filling glasses and bellowing the Importance of Being Ernest quotes. "I am sick to death of cleverness. Everybody is clever nowadays."
