The tea leaves are slowly dried then rolled into pellets before being used alongside oriental lemons, limes and fresh grapefruit to infuse this Irish gin with bold, bright and slightly spicy flavours. Slow distillation of Juniper berries, Angelica Root, Orris Root, Caraway Seed, Coriander Seed, Meadow-sweet, Cardamom and Star Anise in the distilleries Medieval copper stills gives the gin a fresh, citrus taste.
Founded by Patrick J Rigney, The Shed Distillery in Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim, is home to curiosity and experimentation.
