Heartland was set up by a small group of luminaries, led by star winemaker Ben Glaetzer from the better known Barossa Valley region, specifically to do just that. A plan as clear, simple and effective as the classically minimalist label on the bottle. One from the heart(land).
Heartland Wines was created in 2001 by a group of leading South Australian wine identities, including winemaker Ben Glaetzer. All Heartland wines are from the directors' own vineyards in the Limestone Coast and Langhorne Creek, South Australia. There are three ranges: Heartland Stickleback, Heartland Coast & Creek and the flagship Directors' Cut Shiraz.
