The Highland Park Dark Origins is a single malt scotch whisky of a rich mahogany colour. On the nose it has a combination of sherried spice and ripe bananas combined with hazenuts and baked apple aromas. On the palate it is well-balanced with dry peat at first mellowing out to maschino cheeries and warm dark chocolate. It is rounded off with an enduring sweet smoke finish.
Good country Park is made today with the same persevering conviction and honesty, to the same demanding principles, as it has been subsequent to 1798. The set up mentality at Highland Park is one of custodianship as opposed to administration, of custom instead of oddity. Saying this doesn't imply that the refinery is stuck in the mud – a long way from it – however advancement is just utilized when there is a honest to goodness advantage to the whisky not, as is frequently the way, an advantage to proficiency or productivity.
