Just because you've got the body, don't try to find your worth in the red wine district. A white like you. You have class. You're elegant. Your soft gentle structure will hold its own for years to come. So don't sell yourself short. You're gorgeous. Sensuous. Just be yourself. Find the right partner.

Actually, "I loved you since I knew ya. I wouldn't talk down to ya. I have to tell you just how I feel." I can't get you off my mind. Just like a catchy song. Oh..."Roussanne, you don't have to take on the red wines. Roussanne, you don't have to take on the red wines..."

Ken Forrester began his career in the Hotel industry back in 1977, later specialising in the restaurant trade before he and his wife set their hearts on a historic vineyard in Stellenbosch in 1993. Originally granted as Zandberg in 1689, the beautiful farm, complete with historic Cape Dutch homestead built in 1694, had been standing vacant and derelict until the Forrester’s bought it on public auction.

Restoration of the 17th century homestead went underway, replanting the vines to develop wines of quality. The first wines under the Ken Forrester label were produced in 1994, soon the award-winning wines stood at the forefront of the Chenin Blanc revival, earning Ken the nickname ‘Mr Chenin’. The grapes for these wines are sourced from vineyards in the cool Helderberg region of Stellenbosch.

Ken's Roussanne is a sensuous white wine was aged in old, large barrels to add richness and texture. The classic Rhone grape thrives in the Mediterranean climate at The Cape of Good Hope, creating a wine with elegant hints of lime blossom on the palate that are accompanied by a gentle structure.
